I’ve lost count on how many times my friends have asked me if I’m
lonely because I like spending time alone. Whether it be travelling, shopping,
dining out or simply having coffee, I’m always asked whether I’m depressed or
lonely. Nowadays, it seems socially unacceptable to be seen without the company
of others.
